Rob has completed the new Shiplake Tennis Club website and it was presented to the members at the AGM on Monday. With features like up-to-date weather reports and tennis news, google calendar and tennis ladders, the website has brought a fresh new look to the club.

Portrait Photography

We've had a busy weekend running portrait sessions in the Shiplake Church Hall. Our subjects were all ages, from three to fifty three! And all were extremely good models - the promise of a jammy dodger works wonders! Our voucher offer has been very successful in prompting people to think of a portrait photograph as a Christmas present for friends and family. A photograph session bought as a gift could be something to look forward to in January when all the Christmas and New Year celebrations are over and summer holidays are still a long way off.

Nursery Photography

It's been another exciting week at Freeze Frame Photography. We spent an enjoyable morning at Shiplake Nursery photographing the children for their annual portraits. The staff were extremely helpful in getting the children to relax and laugh and keeping us supplied with cups of tea. Rob's headband with glittering stars attached by springs proved to be an eye catching success as they bobbed about just above the camera! Many of the children were photographed with their siblings from Shiplake Primary School and our youngest subject was just 5 weeks old. We saw some familiar faces of children who we've photographed previously at Shiplake Toddlers and who have now transferred to the nursery.
We are looking forward to expanding into this area of photography and would love to hear from any other nurseries.
